communism, the Treaty of Versailles, the rise of Nazism, and worldwide depression.
2. Explain the rise of Nazism including preexisting prejudices, the use of propaganda, and events
which resulted in the Holocaust.
3. Explain how German reunification contributed to the collapse of the Soviet Union and led to
the end of the Cold War.

Universal Design for Learning (UDL): UDL Principles will be present in this lesson through the use of
technology and it’s many approaches to learning. The website Blooket allows teachers and students to create
their own quizzes and assessment-based games to enhance learning. Texts can be read aloud and fonts can
be customizable to help with visually impaired students.

Describe the instructional activities that will occur PRIOR to the SRT activity and how you will introduce
the SRT activity. I will give the students a quick recap of what we have been talking about and let them know
we will be using Blooket to review for a quiz.

Yes because this will be a review so students need to know the right answers immediately
Describe what will happen AFTER the SRT activity?
We will discuss the most important topics we went over in the games so students can remember to study
those parts.
How will the data be used? I will use this data to see what students understand the most and least. I can use
the information to go over what I need to improve on and what I need to spend more time on.

Describe your personal learning goal for this activity. I haven’t tried multiple games for learning, only quizzes
so I hope to see improvement in retention and better understanding for making teaching fun for myself.

Reflective Practice: I feel like there will be more engagement for this activity and more excitement to learn
when the students hear they will be playing fun and competitive learning games.
