the workplace. This form shall be filled up by Program Holders/Section Heads. Please provide an
original or photocopy of the design to the office of the Human Resource Development Unit.

Rationale Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 029 s. 2021 titled School


Calendar and Activities for School Year 2021-2022 , the first
two days of the five -day mid year break ( January 31 ,
February 2-4 , 2022 ) may be spent to evaluate the school’s
progress attained in the implementation of the educational

programs , projects and activities (PPAs) , as well as to review
the performance of teachers and the school staff in order to
address concerns through collaborative effort . The last three
days may be devoted for the conduct of the District -Based- In
– Service Training (INSET) activities for the teachers’ continued
professional development and the preparation of their
instructional Materials (IMs).

B. Training Goals

1. To capacitate raters to rate more objectively and gain a


deeper understanding of the Philippine Professional
Standards for Teachers (PPST) indicators.
2. Enhance teachers’ skills in the preparation of the
instructional materials, review and print modules for
remote/distance learning

3. Improve teachers’ ability in using technology in modular
printed modality; and
4. Enable teachers to support each other to continuously
improve their content and pedagogical knowledge, practice,
skills, and attitudes.
