WHLAQ Activity - Organizational Theories

This independent learning activity is called the WHLAQ about the Organizational Theories.
W - What do you need to find out? You need to think about what you need to find out in
order to address the provocation, solve the problem, or answer questions you may have.

A - What action will you take? This is another way of asking how you are applying what you
have learned. Action is one of the 5 essential elements of the International Baccalaureate®
(IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) and it is an expectation of the PYP that inquiry will lead
to responsible action initiated by students as a result of the learning process.
Q - What new questions do you have? At the end of a unit of inquiry, there should be time
to reflect on whether you have successfully addressed your initial questions and whether
you have come up with other questions.
