IMPACT ON SELF

Conducting this research for our SBA has shown us the researchers how important an

entrepreneur can be and how a small idea can turn into a big and successful one. It made us

more inspired and confident with the thought of becoming an entrepreneur. Taking this

research beyond just becoming an entrepreneur or researching one, we could relate it to the

different subjects we are learning in school. There are times when a certain subject will be

difficult and it seems like you’re getting nowhere in learning, but with time and dedication

you will see how much you have grown in that subject.

The personal lessons that were learnt while doing this research it that we should never limit

our potential or limit our thoughts by being overly critical of mistakes made during the

process. Focus on how challenges are overcome, not on the mistakes made. We understand

that every process will be different, and every obstacle will strengthen your mind-set to

become prosperous, because you only fail when you give up. Being independent, taking

control of your process and not getting overwhelmed when faced with tough situations

demonstrates that there is passion behind the work you do.

Finally as business students this research has inspired and helps boost our confidents in hope

of one day starting our own business regardless of the difficulties and hardship we might face

while doing so. It also gave us attributes that we should possess in order to become a

successful entrepreneur such as being determine and persistent.
