RAISING THE VOICES OF THE YOUNG GENERATION TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF THE EDUCATION

Shalom, my name is Amos Baringbing, I come from North Sumatra, I study at SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
1 SILAEN, I am class X SCIENCE 2, first of all I want to say thank God where until now we are still
given the breath of life for all of us, and I also want to say Thank you to my teachers and friends who
have always supported me until now.

Today I will present the topic of a speech with the theme "Elevating Youth Voice To Improve The
Quality of The Education System in Indonesia", so regarding this topic, let's talk about Generation
Z/GEN Z, what is GEN Z? GEN Z is ourselves, we are GEN Z itself, we are the next generation of this
nation which is full of bright ideas and full of enthusiasm that burns within us, we are full of all the
potential that exists within us. We are the key to this nation standing in future.

We should start preparing it all from now on!! When you want to achieve your goals of course you
will face many things and one of the ways you can achieve your goals is with education, we are
always trivial with the word education, but in reality we are in a crisis of education, we are in a
position to 55 of the 73 ASEAN countries, this is proof of how lacking education is in Indonesia
because it is time for us the next generation to think about this problem as well. This education does
not only come from teachers but we are also included in it.

With what is happening now, namely Covid-19, it is increasingly difficult for us to find out knowledge
from teachers with these limitations, many students finally don't focus anymore with their lessons
and end up with those who don't care anymore about assignments and others. finally they don't
care about their children and instead invite them to help them in the garden or rice fields so that this
makes their children not get an adequate quality of education anymore, now is the time for us to
strive for a better quality of education in Indonesia.

In my opinion, the most effective way to improve the quality of education itself is:

1.we ourselves, sometimes we feel like we want to be this and this but we don't know that the first
thing we have to prepare is ourselves no matter how much you do if you don't prepare yourself it's a
futile thing

2. is to seek as much knowledge as possible, currently we are ready with gadgets which of course
have a lot of knowledge that you can find in it, learning resources can be from social media youtube,
online study guidance such as teacher rooms, quipper, GO etc.

3. Lastly, improving the quality of teachers also affects students who need teachings and upbringing
from teachers.
so the conclusion of the speech is to invite all of us, the next generations of the nation, let's give all
your thoughts about the quality of education with your thoughts we can build Indonesian education
to be even better until one day when the next generation appears they will continue and develop
more ideas and other thoughts that produce a better education. The progress of a nation will be
determined by the quality of its education, while the future of the nation is in the hands of the
younger generation. It can be seen that the role of youth in education is related. Therefore, the issue
of national education must be a priority. in the development of the nation, and it has been
mandated by the Constitution of 1495 in particular article 31 paragraph 3 "

Thus the results of my speech on "Raising the Voices of the Young Generation to Improve the Quality
of the Education System in Indonesia" may be useful for all of you and be a lesson for you, sorry if
