Bomb Threat Manuscript
1. To test the capability of the perimeter security and personnel on duty in recognizing threat or
any usual situations in the area.
a) To test the procedure in communicating and proper channeling to the authorize personnel and
units.
b) To test the procedure in managing suspected IED or bomb.

2. Objectives
To be able to identify unusual items or incident with in the area of security.
To be able to communicate the situation clearly thru proper channeling to the personnel
concern.
To be able to understand instruction and orders of authorize personnel.
3. Scenario
a. Information Phase
A personnel of HCGDSWM received a phone call informing that there is a bomb planted with in
the premises of HCGDSWM. The said personnel who receive phone calls conduct interview by using
the bomb check list for further confirmation of the said treat information.
b. Alert phase
After the information gather, immediate the personnel who receive the call informed the Duty
Petty Officer on Watch, Officer on Duty and officer on duty relay and immediate informed C,
CGDSWM regarding the information gathered.
c. Prevention Phase
Officer on Duty instructed Duty Petty Officer on Watch to cordon the area given by the
informant. Then inform all personnel to evacuate and move away from the cordon area. Duty
operation coordinates CGK9-SWM for the confirmation regarding on information given. Standby
medical team and BFP team.
d. Confirmation
CGK9 conducted paneling and it was confirmed that there is an unidentified Box at (Location),
K9 dog’s detect the said unidentified box is positive. The CGK9 automatically inform EODSWM
personnel.
e. Render Safety Procedure
EOD-SWM together with CGK9-Unit conduct paneling for the possible secondary explosives with
in the premises of HCGDSWM. EOD personnel perform RSP (Render Safety Procedure) using water
disrupter to IED inside the box.
After rendering safety procedures, EOD personnel declared that the said area and all premises
are safe and clear.
