Lyn: To our guests, Ms. Donabel Montoya, Director of Community centre, Ms. Patricia
David our school teacher, Mr. Caleb Luangco representative of the Luanco Farm, and
Ms. Jayvee Mercado, our community leader, good morning! Welcome to San Pedro
Elementary School. We are thankful with your presence today. We gathered you all to
talk about the school and community relationship. We all know that children are our future.
So, it is a must for us to support them in the journey they are taking. With this, I believe we
need to introduce to them the community they belong. It is best if they should participate in a
program where they can use their knowledge and skills and at the same time, they are
contributing to our community. As the school head, I am requesting for your support to held a
program where learners can learn about the industry of farming and at the same time
experience the process. On the other hand, learners with skills and knowledge about farming
may be able to pursue this kind of business soon. Your opinions and efforts would be a big help
for all of us specially our learners.

Patricia: As the teacher of these learners, I would love to give my full support. I am
suggesting a tree planting program for our learners in our community. Fruits and vegetables
bearing trees would be a big help for our community. This program is also under in our EPP
subject so, there would be no problem in terms of the time to be consumed. I can also give a
lecture before starting the tree planting so that, even our participants in the community will be
aware of what tree planting is.
Jayvee: Goodmorning everyone , as the director of our community centre, I am in favor of what
Ms. Patricia have suggested. After all, pandemic have taught us the importance of planting. And
I believe in the saying when something is planted, something is reaped. So, if this program will
be held, I will be glad to offer you our community centre as your resting place. Our playground
is open for the learners to feel relaxed after the tiring day. Lastly, I will be requesting a food
budget for our participants.

Caleb: Good morning everyone, I am Caleb Luangco the CEO of Luangco Farm. Since
the suggested program is related with farming, it is our pleasure to give away some of
our vegetable seeds. Also, you can visit our farm to know more about farming, the
process of taking care of each plants and the efforts you need in farming. Who knows,
one of our learners will love this industry.

Donabel: As the chairwoman of Barangay San Pedro, this program is a blessing to all of
us in the community. Pandemic hits us hard and the only support we had was the relief
goods sent by the LGU. In this case, I will be gathering all officials and the non-working
parents in our barangay to participate in the said program and so that the learners will
also be taken care of. Regarding the places to be planted, there are some spaces along
the barangay basketball court, side of the creek and behind the Community centre.
Lastly, we can also allocate a budget for the snacks and drinks of our participants.

Lyn: Wow! I am overwhelmed with the supports that you will be giving for us and our
students! So, the program that we will be helding is "Community Tree Planting" with
this, learners and parents will contribute in our community and at the same time, learn
about the industry of farming since Mr. Luangco suggested to visit their farm. A good
school-community relationship helps our learners to be motivated going to school
everyday. Also, not only the students but also the parents are learning with this kind of
program. Thank you very much for all the support that you are giving us. Rest assured
that we will also do our best to produce youth that our community can be proud of. We
will be communicating to you as soon as possible for the date and time of our program.
Again, thank you so much for all the help and efforts. With that, let us call it a day?

Everyone: you are welcome Ms. Lyn. Good day.

Lyn: good day everyone. Again, thank you so much!
