(1) Install the compensating chain. Make sure that it is not twisted (See C-17-1.1a for details).
(2) After installing the compensating chain, check that there is no problems by moving the car up and down
repeatedly.
(3) The distance between the bottom end of the compensating chain and the pit floor must be as follows.
Travel < 60 m: 100 to 125
60 < Travel < 80 m: 150 to 175
(4) Adjust the excess length of the chain by folding it down on the car side, and fix it with a plastic binder.
