Experience:
1980's : Survey and layout. Consisted of calculations and staking of subdivision
s, property boundaries, roads, underground utilities, bridges, sewer lagoons,
commercial buildings, forest boundaries, dams, power plants and tunnel work
.
1990's : Employed as Project Engineer on Heavy Highway and Bridge contracts. Cal
culations and staking of all phases of Projects. Also fish screens for severa
l agencies.
Employed as Superintendent on Heavy Highway and Bridge contracts. Projects up
to 20 million dollars. Freeway construction, Underground utilities, Box girder
and bulb-t structures, slab bridges and fish screens.
2000's : Employed as Superintendent / Project Manager on Heavy Highway and Bridg
e contracts. Projects up to 50 million dollars. Freeway construction, Box gird
er and bulb-t structures, slab bridges, light rail bridges, MSE and retaining
walls.
Project is scheduled to be completed in field October 31, 2010. I anticipate my
obligation will be completed December 1, 2010. The following current references

Project: Oregon Dept. Of Transportation, Shady I-5 Project, Roseburg Oregon
Overview: Project was forced into Bond after Original Contractor was unable to
complete. I was hired to Project Manage in the field as representative of the bo
nding company. Initial tasks involved coordination of the Sate and Completion Co
ntractor and assessing activities to be completed. Meeting and scheduling work t
o be completed involving CORP Railroad, Fish & Game and Douglas County.
Re- scheduling subcontractors and evaluating work left to be completed, reviewi
ng subcontracts and potential new subcontractors. Coordination of ODOT, Completi
on Contractor, Safeco and subcontractors. Weekly and CPM scheduling, daily revie
w and problem solving on the project. Submittal and tracking of all associated c
ontract documents. Review of contractor daily performance and conformance to the
contract specifications. Submittal of In-Water Work Permits, Railroad documents
, state required documents. As Project Representative my main role was to coordi
nate all agencies and contractors, problem solve and complete the project within
the specified time per our takeover agreement.
