Amazon – Intern Hiring FAQs

What is the eligibility criteria for applying to the Intern profile?

• Applicant should be enrolled in a 4-year B.Tech/BE or 2-year M.Tech/ME program

• Specialization in Computer Science/ Information Technology or Electrical/Electronic only.
• Year of graduation should be 2022 and college should have the 6 months internship as
part of their academic schedule. (Jan-June 2022)
• CGPA should be 6.5/10 and above
• No backlogs in any year/semester of engineering
• Students who have participated in any SDE Intern/Fulltime interviews in the past 6 months are
not eligible to reapply again.

What is the process of the online test?

Students should register for the interview process through their placement office. All the eligible
students will get a link for their online assessment in their registered email ID only. Test will be for 2.5
hours which covers

• Code debugging
• Coding test
• Workstyles assessment
• Reasoning ability

Online test link will have all the instructions and system requirements. Students are requested to follow
the instruction before starting the online assessment.

How will I get to know the online assessment details?

Placement office will confirm you the date for the online test. Test link will be shared to your registered
email ID and the link will be active only during the online test slot.

How will I know about the interview schedule?

Based on the performance on the online assessment students will be shortlisted and the list of
shortlisted students will be shared with the placement office. Interview shortlist students will receive
the link invite email from the Amazon interview- scheduling team.

What is the interview model?

Interview shortlist students will have 2 rounds of virtual interviews for the 6-month intern profile.
However, each round is an elimination round and based on the performance 2nd round of virtual
interview will be scheduled.

Interview invite email will have all the instructions for the virtual interview.

Can I reschedule my interviews?

No. Interviews will be scheduled basis the confirmation from the placement office. Students are
requested to be available during the proposed interview dates.

How I get to know the results of my interview?

Interview candidates are requested to connect with the placement office for their results as it’s directly
communicated to the placement office.
