Adventist Church. It was a Joint Partnership business of Patricia Mae Capule and

Charish Ann Infante.

C. Nature of Business
The BesTea Milktea House is a tea establishment that deals in all flavors of milk

tea and fruit tea. We will sell our milk tea and fruit tea in a milk tea cup. Our BesTea

Milktea House will provide all the best experience to our different customers. We will

not only sell a tea alone, we will intend to deal in various products that are associated

with milk tea and fruit tea as well as offer services that are in line and connected with

tea. Some of the product and services are, different flavors (milk tea and fruit tea) and

a topping (tapioca pearls), for appetizers like fries and nachos. In services we offer

dine in, walk in, to go and delivery.

D. Statement of Financing Needed

BesTea Milktea House will obtain through the capital of the owners through

bank loan, established by Patricia Mae Capule and Charish Ann Infante on the 4 th of

January year 2021. Our financial plan is based on our research into similar business in

the similar communities. We estimated for equipment, rent and other operating

expenses. As an owner-operated business our top priorities in the first three years are

repaying our long-term loan, paying our employees, covering our expenses on time

and generating our modest profit.

F. Executive Summary

Milk tea shop is popular among young to young adults. But in our milktea house,

it’s not just for young and young adults, it is for everyone because it serves a healthy
drink. Our business, BesTea Milktea House is far from the plain looking tea that you

are familiar with. It is non- alcoholic and non-carbonated. The tea we use is a real

black tea. Most of the people nowadays are health conscious and looking for healthy

drinks such as milk, tea, smoothies and fresh fruit juices. We serve milk tea and also

fruit tea for non- tea lovers. The cup that we are using is a plastic hard cup that can be

reusable. BesTea Milktea House will serve a life time promo that will attract and

excite the customers. Promoting the products of BesTea Milktea in our social media

platform like in Facebook page (BesTea Milktea House) and on Instagram

(@_besteamilkteahouse) to ensure that we thoroughly advertise our product and

services. BesTea Milktea House is open for walk in, dine in, to go and delivery.

There is a new tendency for people to try new products and services, teenagers

and students are the most interested on what is trendy nowadays. But also, we will try

to attract new customers by creating and improving a new tendency of drinking tea for

all ages. Our pricing is ranging from 99 to 199 pesos, for regular size (16oz) cost 99

pesos, large size (22oz) 130 pesos and extra-large (1liter) 199 pesos, that is cheap and

unique price compare to competitors because our product has a life time promo of buy

one take one.

The business is looking forward to add some specialty mix or mixing with
different drinks like yakult mix, creamy latte mix, creamy milk tea mix, coffee drinks

and coolers. And to grow our business, we are also looking forward to build another

branch in other location.

BesTea will assure that our employees are well trained and their knowledge,

skills and abilities will enhance more. They will be focus on what they are positioned.

Also, the manager will know what else need to be improved on their skills so that they

will be professional at doing their job. We will be having a general assembly where

everyone can tell their opinions on how to improve and grow the business.

Every nutrition month, the business will be having a feeding program in a

selected public elementary school every year and they will give to some teachers of

their delicious and best seller milk tea or fruit tea, so the business will be even better

known.

BesTea Milktea House has contingency plan to assure that in case of emergency

or disaster might happen, they will have an emergency action plan, evacuation center

or a safety place for the customers, workers and equipment. Food security is also

matter to this business. For all of the important files, it will be back up in case it will

be damage or lost. BesTea will have a backup plan for all of this especially for the

business continuation, they will make arrangements to their supplier to obtain a

supply and equipment needed.


For employee’s health and safety, the management will provide a safe work

environment. Business policies are given for a better workplace safety that wearing a

prescribed uniform is a must during working, unplugging all the power cord after

working hours, and a fire extinguisher would be place inside the store and production

area. Employee conduct, that employee must report every single information that

happens in the business. Disciplinary, evaluation of the employee should be done

monthly. Equal opportunity, policy of treating employees without discrimination

especially on the basis of sex, race or age.

The management or the owners shall implement accountability, communication

and transparency to the workers and customers to have a successful business.

the owners Patricia Mae Capule and Charish Ann Infante, their love for teas will make

the transition to owning and running a teahouse.

Our product is far from the plain looking tea that you are familiar with. It is

sweet, though you can less the sugar as much as you want. The drink usually a mix of
milk, tea, sugar, flavor and a tapioca ball or also known as tapioca pearls. We offer a

huge variety of flavors to try. We serve milk tea and also fruit tea for non- tea lovers.

The cup that we are using is a plastic hard cup that can be reusable. BesTea Milktea is

interested on what is trendy nowadays, they consume milk tea often. We will try to

We have several strengths that will be beneficial to our milk tea business. First,

we provide high quality and healthy beverage at affordable prices. Second, we have

have competent and efficient employees who understand the beverage market and

they know that it will take us to the top and also the owner who have required

experienced needed to ensure that we become the brand we intend to be.

Weaknesses

Our weaknesses are from the fact the we have so many competitors in the
market, we would be battling with other healthy drinks, and difficulty to create an

identity and stand out.

Opportunities

We have several opportunities that we intend to continually improve and

introduce new products and innovation. Also, we are building a brand that we want to

ensure is attractive to investors.

Threats

We expect to experience strong competition from other milk tea shop in the same

location or around us. Also, we expect issues such as people claiming to have health

issues from taking our product and some problems about our services. Regardless of

the threats that we will going to face, we have strong determination to ensure that we

will overcome it and proactive to these issues

or to their friends our products and promotion. After several weeks, our customers and

reviews from our customer we will improve, make a plans and strategies of our

every day purchases of customers we will estimate the stocks so that we’ll prevent the

The milktea that we offer is available in three different sizes regular, large and extra-

The Program for Social Responsibility of our business BesTea Milktea House is

when it is nutrition month, we will be having a feeding program in a selected public

Before we launched this business, we our looking forward that after several

months we will develop and adds some specialty mix or mixing different drinks like

now, milk tea and fruit tea is our top drinks in our business.

four members. The owners who manage the business and the two members who

assigned to different positions that will cover all the products and services.

and successful. The owners shared their capital to establish the business. Their interest

and skills make the transition to owning and running a teahouse.

The owners assigned duties and delegates so the subordinates can accomplish the

task. Accountability accelerates your performance by helping you make consistent

and steady progress. Being accountable means working with integrity.

Good communication is needed by owners and employees to build relationships

of trust and commitment so the business will operate smoothly.

Everyone must be transparent and must be willing to share. Owners need to build

Store Manager

A store manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a store,

making sure it runs smoothly and effectively.

Purchasing Manager

Their roles are to work with suppliers and vendor of ingredients of tea and build

and maintain relationship with them. Also, they prepare and review the supplier

contract.

Marketing Manager

In charge of conducting marketing research on how to retain and attract


customers. Oversees the production of all promotional materials and marketing

campaigns

Human Resources

Ensures that all the departments in the organization runs smoothly. Conducts

recruitment and orientation for new employees. Also, responsible for carrying our

performance appraisals on employee.

Accountant/ Cashier

The responsibilities of being accountant are; they are in charge of preparing the

financial reports and statements on behalf of the organization. A cashier's role is to

assist customers in the in-store check-out process.

Server

The roles of the server are from preparing the food, stocking supplies, serving,

charging people for their food or drinks, handling cash, cleaning the tables and

counters, greeting customers, making suggestions based on their preference and

answering questions.
Driver/ Delivery Man

The responsibilities of driver or delivery man are loading, transporting and

delivering the orders to customers in a safe and timely manner. Reviewing orders

before and after delivery to ensure that the orders are complete, the chargers are

correct and make sure that the customer is satisfied.

Cleaner

Cleaning, stocking and supplying designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping,

vacuuming, moping, restroom cleaning, etc.) Performing and documenting routine

inspection and maintenance activities. Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special

projects.

Purpose

The purpose of the BesTea Milktea House Contingency Plan is to assure that in

case of emergency or a disaster might happen, we will have a backup plan so the

business processes will continue.

The business operation will continue in the event of a disaster; we will include

contingency procedures. The business will assure and maintain this plan. The

temporary procedures and plans include the following:

Recovery Strategies

1. Perform mock food recall drills (traceability exercise) demonstrate efficiency of

identifying and segrating affected products. Provide training on food security for all

employees. Perform employee background checks and access control.

2. We will establish an emergency action plan or fire protection plan. Will perform

EAP team training and other employee, visitors, and contractor training. Fire

department and insurance companies can help with assessment. Identify alternate

manufacturing sites and a plan of action in case of this.

3. Place cctv and alarms inside of the store and production area. Putting hotline

numbers and contact in a place that can easily see.

4. Prepare emergency fund in case of crisis. Marketing strategies for business process.

5. Providing evacuation center or a safety place for customers, workers and
