The pressure on teenagers to succeed academically is a global phenomenon.

unemployed and there is not enough work for everyone. So, the government has to
find another way to keep the country running. In order to do this, they make it
mandatory for teenagers to go to school and study hard. Another reason is that
society expects them to do well in their studies so they can have a better future.

in their studies.
