· The show is open to all Shetland Pony Society of North America (SPSNA) registered Shetland Ponies.
· Entry form with all required signatures and copies of registration and negative Coggins papers for each pony
must be provided before numbers will be issued.
· All fees must be paid in full before numbers will be issued. $25 fee for all returned checks. Entry fees will not be
refunded unless a certificate of illness or injury prepared by an accredited veterinarian is presented to the show
management before the start of the show on 7/9/11. Warranted refunds, less an office processing fee of $5 per
pony will be returned by mail.
· Entry fees are forfeited for ponies not shown in classes entered. No refunds.
· Changes made to pre-entries on the day of the show will be considered post entries and charged accordingly.
· The steward will be on the grounds near the ring at 8:30 AM to measure ponies who have not been measured at
a prior SPSNA-sanctioned show and/or are under 5 years of age as of 1/1/11. At the time of measurement, the
steward must see the ponyʼs SPSNA registration paper.
· Classes may be divided or combined as entries warrant.
· The show grounds requires ALL riders to wear an approved ASTM/SEI helmet while riding, ground-driving, or as
a passenger in pony-drawn vehicle. All youth drivers must wear an approved helmet.
· All classes will be run in accordance with the current SPSNA Official Guide. Please see the steward well before
the start of a class to clarify any rule regarding that class. The Guide is available on the SPSNA website.
· Classes to start promptly at 9:00 AM. Please be on time for each class! Three minute gate rule in effect.
· Junior age is as of 1/1/11.
· Only current members can earn points. Membership forms for SPSNA and MPB will be available at the show.
Classes to start promptly at 9:00 AM. Classes will be run in order of prize list below. All classes will be held in the
main ring. Class numbers correspond to SPSNA Official Guide book. Performance entries are made in the name of
exhibitor or pony as noted: P = pony, C = child, C/P - Child/pony combination. (BCP) indicates a class eligible
for the Best Childʼs Pony award. All exhibitors are reminded to review the latest SPSNA Official Guide for cross
entry information and rules.
