ATHLETICS
. Athletics is the biggest sport in the games, with a program divided into
competitions that take place both on the track and on the street. The
concept of running faster than rivals may seem simple, but every aspect of
an athlete's performance must be perfect to win gold.

BADMINTON
Unlike other net sports, badminton uses a steering wheel instead of a
ball. This is shaped like an open cone, and is formed by goose feathers
embedded in round cork base. The speed at which this projectile moves is
greater than in any other racquet sport.
BASKETBALL
Basketball is contested with two teams of five players on a 28x15 m court, in which
players look to score by throwing the ball into a basket. An accurate shot from
outside the three-point line is rewarded with three points; while one from within the
line means getting two points. A free kick that follows a foul is a point. One of the
outstanding features of this sport is the mate or the sunk, which can be the
culmination of quick offensive plays. In basketball, four 10-minute times are played.
BASKETBALL 3X3
3x3 basketball is an exciting and innovative sport. It developed from street
basketball, and is considered number one among urban team sports. In 2007

Youth Olympic Games(YOG), in Singapore2010.

can be exchanged at any time with their teammates. It is played on a

played in many parts of the world by people of all ages.
BOXING
Two fighters face off in a ring, and the victory is won by the one who throws
the most stylish blows to the head and torso of his opponent. This is a
simple description of a sport that appeared in the ancient Olympic Games of
the seventh century BC.C., when rivals fought with strips of leather wrapping
their fists. Boxing has been present in every modern Olympic Game since St.
Louis 1904, with the exception of Stockholm 1912. The women's competition
was added to the programme at London 2012.

CYCLING BMX FREESTYLE

BMX has its origins in the racing culture that existed in California in the
mid-70s. The children, inspired by the motocross riders, began to imitate
with their bicycles the tricks they performed in the air. Since those
beginnings, it has changed to become a popular sport thanks to the great
television coverage it has, which has given it recognition around the world
thanks to the World Championships that, now, are held annually.
At the Tokyo 2020 Games, participants will compete in the discipline of
park, which involves participants executing tricks on obstacles such as
walls, drawers and columns. In 60 seconds, riders will showcase their
acrobatic skills and tricks.

. BMX RACING CYCLING
The roots of BMX racing (BMX racing) lie in the racing culture, which began
in California between the 60s and 70s. Then, children, influenced by
motrocross drivers, tried to imitate their heroes, but the sport remained
relatively small until the 80s. In 1982 the film E.T. was released, which helped
popularize BMX Racing, especially thanks to the pursuit of the famous final
scene. This was the year when the BMX bike became a 'must' for children
and teenagers.
MOUNTAIN BIKING
Mountain biking, or mountain biking, emerged in the United States during
the 70s, when outdoor lovers decided to modify their bikes to be able to
use them off the road. Consequently, these specialized bikes were
created, which can withstand impacts. By the 90s, mountain biking was
globally recognized as an outdoor sport.
Cross-country mountain biking (MTB Cross-Country), also known as
cross-country, was adopted as an official Olympic sport at the 1996
Atlanta Games. Cross-country races take place on dirt tracks that test
competitors' skills while entertaining the viewer.

TRACK CYCLING
The history of track cycling dates back 120 years, when it first appeared at
the 1896 Athens Games. Since then it has been part of the Olympic program,
with the exception of Stockholm 1912. However, the women's category had
to wait until Seoul 1988 to make its debut.
The participation of professional cyclists was allowed from the 1996 Atlanta
Games. The discipline of keirin, which originated in Japan, was added to the
program at the 2000 Sydney Games.
CYCLING EN ROUTE
Road cycling has been included in virtually every Olympic programme since
1896, except for a 12-year period in which it was excluded, although it
returned in Stockholm in 1912. However, the women's category was
introduced at the 1984 Los Angeles Games. Although Olympic cycling was
originally restricted only to amateur athletes, professionals have been able to
participate in them since Atlanta 1996. This decision caused it to increase in
popularity.
SPORT CLIMBING
Sport climbing takes on the challenge of making a steep ascent to a new
level. Using the colorful prey of different shapes and sizes, characteristic of
this sport, climbers put their skills and strength into practice on a vertical
wall. This can have variable angles with positive (structures) or negative
(collapses) sections.

FENCING
Fencing has taken part in every modern Olympic Games since 1896, known
as the I Olympiad Games, in the men's individual foil and sabre
categories. At the 1924 Paris Games, the women's individual foil was
added; at the 1996 Atlanta Games, the women's individual sword; and at the
2004 Athens Games, the women's individual sabre. Two competitors, each with a
weapon in hand, face off to touch their opponent in a certain area of the body. The
surface on which the competition takes place is known as the track.
FOOTBALL
Football is a sport played on a rectangular field with two goals between two
teams of eleven players each with a ball, which must be kicked. It is the most
practiced and most popular among viewers, with a following of about4 billion

Artistic gymnastics has been part of the Olympic program since the first
modern Athens Games in 1896. Initially there was only the men's category,
but the women's category was included in Amsterdam 1928. The artistic
gymnastics competition begins with qualifying rounds to determine who will
advance to the finals of the overall team, individual and individual
competition. The points earned by each athlete for a performance in each
competition (two in individual foal jump) decide whether to continue or not.

RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS
Rhythmic gymnasts are scored for the artistic level of their performances,
which are performed to the sound of music, and for the skill with which they
perform difficult maneuvers with the apparatus. The uniqueness of this sport
lies in this combination of interpretation with the risk of throwing the device
several meters into the air and losing sight of it while performing jumps,
turns or acrobatic routines, and then catch it. Rhythmic gymnasts are
athletes who possess immense strength, speed, skill and flexibility, but they
are also artists capable of exhibiting in their exercises a deep and expressive
beauty.

TRAMPOLIN GYMNASTICS

Trampoline gymnasts perform a series of short routines containing a variety

of turns, rebounds, and flips. Precise technique and perfect body control are
vital to success, as judges score difficulty, execution, flight time and
horizontal scrolling.
