1.MOTIVATION

● Teach the poem, “Hickory Dickory” and let the children recite the poem.

2.PRESENTATION

● Read Along – Read aloud the story and the children will read along.

3.DISCUSSION

The children need to answer the following questions:

● Who are the main characters of the story?

● Where did the story happen?

● When did the story happen?

● What was the lion doing under the narra tree? Who woke the lion?
● What did the lion do to the mouse?

● What happened to the lion one day?

● Who saved the lion?

● What did the lion say after he was rescued by the mouse?

● What did you learn from the story?

4.GENERALIZATION

● What did you learn from our lesson today?

5.APPLICATION

● Allow the pupils to draw their favorite character and to talk about their work during “Show and Tell”.

IV. EVALUATION

 If you were mouse, would you also help the lion? Why or why not?
 If you were the lion, would you let the mouse free?

V. ASSIGNMENT

 Retell your story to your family or best friend.
