SYMMETRIC FIGURE
● A symmetric figure is a figure that can be folded or divided into halves that
match exactly.

EXAMPLES OF SYMMETRIC FIGURES

The broken line in each symmetric figure above divides the figure into two equal
halves. This is called the line of symmetry.

Below are figures with no lines of symmetry; therefore, these figures are not
symmetric.
