FIRST WEEK
During the course of first three week of my
internship I was assigned to line staff on field work .
Initially I was allowed to only observe field work.
During the first week I visited the site of Chikhodra
village , Rasnol village Anand. Where the erection of
HT and LT line was happened. Here I learn and
discuss HT LT power distribution, Elements in Power
distribution with supervisor and also observe the
construction and working of HT and LT line
FIRST WEEK
SECOND WEEK
• During the course of second week of my
internship I was going with line staff for
installation of CTPT Combined metering unit on
the sites of industrial consumers
• Here I learn and understand about internal
connection of CTPT Combined metering unit
• I also observe the CTPT combined metering unit
seconderies connection with HT energy meter

• During the cource of third week of my
internship I was going with line staff for the
replace the 16 KVA Distribution
transformer with 25 KVA Distribution
transformer
• Here I was learn and discuss about the
reason of replacement and parts of
distribution transformer with supervisor
• I was also study and understand about DTR
Structure which type components used and
what is the function of the function of this
components

FOURTH WEEK
• During the course of other three week of
my internship I was assigned to Meter
Testing Laboratory during fourth week I
was see single phase electro-mechanical
Meters and single phase and three phase
electronic meter of different company
 And here I learn and discuss about the
single phase energy meter specification
details with laboratory staff and working
procees of leboratery
FOURTH WEEK
 I had also dicuss about test which is also
done by the respective company .
e.g High Voltage Test
Insulation Resistance Test
Starting Current Test
No-Load Test
FOURTH WEEK
Conclusion
 In this internship at MGVCL South
division I got practical knowledge about
the real work
 This internship helped me to understand
the basic concept of power distribution
 And also learn a major difference
between theory knowledge and practical
knowledge
