Use vivid imagery

that conveys elements of the supernatural in order to present a single, suspenseful
moment to your readers.

Your scene should include the following elements:

 Imagery that brings the scene to life, triggers specific emotions in the reader, and
creates a theme or motif related to the supernatural

 An overall sense of suspense and tension

You should have completed a draft of this assignment in the activity before this one.
If you haven't done so, go back and complete that activity now.

Ask yourself these questions as you revise:

 Did I use vivid imagery that connects to multiple senses?

 Did I use details to inspire a sense of terror, fright, tension, and suspense?

 Did I consider building tension by sharing the character's worries?

 Did I consider building tension by keeping the character in the dark?

 Did I write a single scene, not a whole story?

  Did I write up until the moment of highest tension (the climax) and stop there?
