8. Need for the Project (max. 300 words):
E-Bikes might be the biggest adoption of green transportation of the decade. ‘cycling is
already green’ you may say, but it’s more than that. Think about them in place of small petrol
scooters rather than normal bicycles. E-bikes use rechargeable batteries that can travel up
to 25 to 45 km/h, much faster than most people would cycle, getting you to your destination
quicker and in better shape. In a nutshell they offer low cost, energy efficient, and emission-
free transportation which also has physical and health benefits.
Folding e-bikes are ideal for when space is going to be limited such as when traveling, living
in tight spaces or commuting to work where you don’t have much room in the office.

in an operation amount, a pedal which is operated
by foot, a sensor which detects a driving operation
amount of the pedal, a driving wheel connected to
a motor, and a control means which changes
speed of the motor with respect to the driving
operation amount of the pedal by the operation
amount of the operation unit. The control means
changes load of driving operation of the pedal by
the operation amount of the operation unit .
A number of variations may include a product
comprising a scooter with an integrated folding
system, wherein the scooter further comprises a
first folding mechanism which allows a first and a
FOLDABLE SCOOTER/BIKE
second handle bar to fold within the steerer unit, a
CONCEPT AND FOLDING second folding mechanism which allows a steerer
MECHANISM unit to be folded around a first wheel, and a third
(201614019929) folding mechanism which allows a deck to be
folded around the first wheel.
A number of variations may include a product
comprising a bicycle with an integrated folding
system comprising: a first latch system in a stem of
the bicycle; a second latch system in a headset of
INTEGRATED FOLDING BIKE the bicycle; a third latch system in a frame of the
SYSTEM bicycle; and wherein the first latch system, the
(201634004112) second latch system, and the third latch system
work simultaneously to fold the bicycle to a
compact size.
10. Objective, Methodology of the Project (max. 400 words):
1) Gives you more flexibility (Not limited, by route maps or even street direction.)
2) Takes up less space when parked.
3) More convenient.
4) Reduce bike theft by parking inside or keeping the bike with you or fits into storage
lockers for better security.
5) Takes up less space than non-folding bicycles.
6) With folding bicycles, parking needs are reduced because riders take their bikes with
them.
7) By riding bicycle makes our environment pollution free
11. Work Plan (including detailed methodology and time schedule) – (max. 1000 words):

12. Output of The Project (max. 200 words):
We all are aware of the cost of fuels and at what speed it is increasing in such condition it is not
possible for everyone to use the services which run on fuels. In such condition, the folding bicycle
plays a very important role it not only saves the fuels but also helps to keep our self-healthy and it
does not affect the work which we will complete it by making the use of other travelling services such
as the bike. As the weight of the folding bicycle is less than the conventional bicycle it is easy to carry
from one place to another. Generally, the weight of the bicycle is around 15-20kg.and the weight of
the folding bicycles is around 10-12kg with same rigidity. This is due to the material used in the
folding bicycle. There is one of the best use of the folding bicycle is that we can take the bicycle on
the train and bus because it acquires less space if we want to go on a long tour.
