 EXAMPLE 1

• Opening : Good Morning ladies and gentleman, I’m Riza and I’d like to talk
about tobacco tax should be increase to control number of smoker in adolescence.
• Background : Do you realize that a high proportion of adolescence in Indonesia are
smoker? Based on the data from Indonesian public health association, 23,1% of people
aged 10-19 were smoker in 2018. This high proportion is a huge issue since they have
greater risk to get non-communicable disease such as stroke and heart disease.
• Main Idea : The government should increase tobacco tax to overcome this issue. if
tobacco tax is risen, the tobacco price will be increase. Therefore adolescence, who are
mainly students, will not able not to buy cigarette.
• Closing : That is all my presentation, thank you for the attentions.

• Opening : Assalamualaykum Wr. Wb. My name is Ardi Bastian, I’m one of the
Lecturer in the Institute of Health Science STRADA Indonesia, In this presentation I
would talk about physical inactivity in Indonesia.
• Background : Physical inactivity or sedentary lifestyle has become a worldwide
pandemic. Physical Inactivity is the primary cause of obesity, type 2 diabetes and heart
disease. In Indonesia, the percentage of physical inactivity is around 22% in 2016
according to WHO. The number is significantly higher than China at 14% and Uganda at
6%. I think everybody
• Main Idea : Health department should cooperate with private sector to promote
sport and physical activity in community. Health department can establish bike to work
or cardio program. It also can advocate to education department to increase sport lesson
at school. attentions.

• Opening : Let me begin by welcoming you all in this presentation. Honorable Mrs
Arina as the main lecturer, Honorable Mrs Ratri as the associate lecturer and all my friends.
My name is Mika and what I want to share today is about mental health in Indonesia.
• Background : Have you ever heard about mental health disease such as schizophrenia
or panic disorder? Based on the data from Indonesia Psychiatric association, there are 9
million people in this county suffer with mental health disease in 2018. That is unfortunate
that mental health disease is still lack of attention compared to physical diseases.
• Main Idea : In my opinion, health department should cooperate with other
organization to increase mental health awareness in our country. Health department can
cooperate with other sector within government, companies, schools, and NGO’s to promote
mental health and make everybody realize that this is important problem.
• Closing : I really appreciate having had this opportunity to share my ideas with
