• Brief Introduction

In this project we have learn about Hotel Management Application

System.
Hotel Management System is a web-based application that allows
the hotel manager to handle all hotel activities online. Interactive GUI
and the ability to manage various hotel bookings and rooms make this
system very flexible and convenient. The hotel manager is a very busy
person and does not have the time to sit and manage the entire activities
manually on paper. This application gives him the power and flexibility
to manage the entire system from a single online system. Hotel
management project provides room booking, staff management and
other necessary hotel management features. The system allows the
manager to post available rooms in the system. Customers can view and
book room online. Admin has the power of either approving or
disapproving the customer’s booking request. Other hotel services can
also be viewed by the customers and can book them too. The system is
hence useful for both customers and managers to portable manage the
hotel activities.

• Aim of This Project

In this project we to simplify the task of maintaining records of the e of

hotel.To develop an well designed database to store hotel information.
Provides full functional report to management of hotel.

Title- Hotel Mangement System

1.Rationale:
The micro-project “Hotel Management System” is the sample project for
managing hotel details.
 This is software for managing the general activity of a hotel like booking of
Room billing etc.
The purpose of this document it to collect anlayze and difinite high level needs
and feature of the hotel management system.it focused on the captivity needed
by the stakeholders and the target user.and why these need exists The details of
how the hotel management system fulfill these needs are details in the use case
and supplmenty specifications. This software is aimed the facilitating the promot
accurate and easy management of a hotel it will be very helpful to the
management on the one hand and to customer as they would be able to get good
and fast service

2. System requirements study

A flowchart is a type of diagram that represents a workflow or process. A flowchart can

also be defined as a diagrammatic representation of an algorithm, a step-by-step
approach to solving a task.

A simple flowchart representing a process for dealing with a non-functioning lamp.

The flowchart shows the steps as boxes of various kinds, and their order by connecting
the boxes with arrows. This diagrammatic representation illustrates a solution model to
a given problem. Flowcharts are used in analyzing, designing, documenting or managing
a process or program in various fields.

6. Actual Methology:

Evergreen Project for real life as well for engineering students.Visitor or
Client comes in hotel and book his/her room for some duration. Visitor
will provide his own personal detail and will get room number according
to availability. Yeah there will be charge for every room according to
facility. After payment visitor will checkout from the hotel .
