    This document provides guidelines for standard implantation distances for new electrification works on main lines and in yards. For main lines, the mast implantation distance can be a minimum of 2.8 meters if the formation width allows, or can be reduced to 2.5 meters without approval or 2.36 meters with approval from the Chief Electrical Engineer. For portal uprights, masts carrying more than one overhead equipment, and head span masts, the implantation distance should not be less than 3 meters but can be reduced to 2.8 meters with approval. Implantation distances in yards can be a minimum of 2.36 meters without specific approval. These guidelines were approved by the Railway Board.

    In continuation to ACTM correction slip no 20, following tabular guidelines regarding


    setting distance is given with the approval of. Board (ML):
