Nutrition Advisor - Job Description

Profile:

 The candidate should have a flair for selling and must have either 6 months experience or an
ambition to start his / her career in sales.
 Pleasing personality with a positive attitude.
 Ability to deliver results and meet the expectations as set out by the Organisation.

Desired Age: 22+ years

Qualities Desired:

 Bachelors Degree in Science (B.Sc.,) or Pharmacy (B. Pharm.,).


 Good Communication and Presentation Skills.
 Good business acumen and strong desire to drive business growth.
 Basic knowledge of standard computer software applications.
 Basic knowledge of distribution practices.
 Good analytical problem-solving skills.
 Bilingual (English & local language).

Responsibilities:

• Operate according to core business ethics while generating business for MJN Products (and
New Products).
• Call on a minimum of 150 (One Hundred and Fifty) health care professionals specifically
pediatricians, gynecologists and General Practitioners with high pediatric practice in private
hospitals and private clinics.
• Significantly contribute to the achievement of the company’s business objectives.
• Call on Chemist Retail Outlets located in and around the government hospitals, private
hospitals and private clinics to monitor demand for the Products (and New Products) and to
measure the impact of frequency of visit to HCPs, apart from doing POB (Personal Order
Booking) every day.
• Achieve monthly call coverage that includes Hit: Miss, Reach and Frequency.
• Execute marketing programs, such as paramedic activity in coordination with Trade Sales
Executive / Territory Manager and complete the execution within the stipulated time frame as
per KRAs/ KPIs.

• Implement unique, high impact and low cost programs using promotional expense budget for
the achievement of the desired business goals, strictly adhering to IMS Act and FCPA.
• Create and sustain long-term professional relationships with health care professionals
specifically pediatricians and GPs with high pediatric practice in the Territory and also with
Chemist Retail Outlets.
• Submit high quality information and maintain accuracy and correctness in the completion of
records and reports before the agreed timelines.
• Ensure effective and efficient utilization of MJN Marketing resources for optimum results.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary with the purpose of achieving commercial
objectives and strictly adhering to ethical guidelines and provisions, particularly IMS Act and
FCPA.
• Should wear the appropriate uniform on an assigned schedule.
• Reach should at least be 95% achievement or 100 HCPs per Territory/Cycle.
• Hit should be a minimum of 45 out of 50 on High Core HCPs covered per Cycle.
• Hit should be a minimum 45 out of 50 on Mid Core HCPs covered per Cycle.
• Frequency achievement of at least 95% of Territory Business Objectives.
• Coverage to HCPs in the MCL should be documented through the daily call reports. Call
only on the customers whose names appear on the MCL
• Report Progress to the immediate manager (TSEs / TMs).
