1. How can you say that the embroidery is beautiful?


Based on our discussion, the beauty of embroidery is not fully depends on the design
of the embroidery. Because it depends on the quality and type of the thread used, thickness of
the thread, the way the stiches do, neatness of the work, the proportion of the design, the
combination of the stitches used if the color combination of the stitches is beautiful or
appropriate and lastly is the distance between design and the cloth.

2. If you are going to make an embroidery design, what basic stitches do you want to use
into your masterpiece? Explain why.
If I were going to make a embroidery design and the basic stitches that I want to
use in masterpiece is the Stem stich and satin stitch. Stem stich because I want to use this
in making the stem of my rose while the satin is to fill out the petals in my design.
