I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of this lesson the students are be able to:

A. Cognitive:
1. Know what is cell
2. Describe what is Animal cell and Plant cell
B. Affective:
1. Learn the different parts of animal cell
2. Determine the different parts of Plant cell
C. Psychomotor:
1. Construct an idea on what is the difference between animal cell and
plant cell

II. SUBJECT MATTER


Topic: Animal Cell and Plant Cell
Sub-topics: What is a cell, what is Animal cell and Plant Cell, Parts of Animal
cell and Plant Cell, and Differences and Similarities of the said cells.

Materials: Laptop, Visual-Aids, Printed Pictures

III. PROCEDURE
Preliminary Activities

Prayer: “Class before we start let us have our opening prayer”


Greetings: “Good morning everyone! Welcome to our Science class”

Attendance: (checking of attendance)


“Very good class, looks like we are all present today”

Motivation:
Printed Pictures “Class, so now let’s have a short energizer! I am going to
show a bunch of pictures, these pictures are organs and below of it, it has
scrambled letters and you are going to identify it”
Analysis:
“Based on the guessing we’ve done a second ago, do you have any idea on
what topic we will have for today?”

Activity:
Students will group themselves into two, The group 1 is the Animal cell and
the Group 2 is the Plant cell. Each group will label the different parts of the
said cells.

Abstraction:
For today’s lesson we are going to discuss about Animal Cell and Plant Cell

Application:
1. What is Animal Cell and Plant Cell
2. What are the similarities and differences of Animal cell and Plant cell

Assessment:

1. Enumerate the different parts of Animal Cell


2. Enumerate the different parts of Plant Cell
