Introduction
Our topic is about Autistic Disorder which is under a type of Autism Spectrum

Disorder(ASP). We, the group who conducted this research are, Charles Embuscado, Jamaica

Maga, Riezel Manlambus, Marie Antoinette Obrador, and Alessandra Marie Pascasio.
 Autistic Disorder is a developmental Disorder which they are having a difficulty of social

interaction and communication. Autistic Disorder is a related with a combination of Genetic and

Environmental Factors. Risk Factors during pregnancy comprise certain infection, such as

Rubella, drinking alcohol, smoking cocaine, inhalation of pesticide and air pollution. Autistic

Disorder is a highly Neurodevelopmental Disorder that gradually occur or begin of during the

age of six months, and develop at the age of two to three years old and through adulthood.

Toddlers or kids with Autistic Disorder differ much in terms of social norms: they don’t ma ke

eye contact much and they don’t care much about others, also they like to play alone and may

resist cuddling. People with Autistic Disorder tend to manifest repeated body movements (Such

as clapping their hands).

People with Autistic Disorder tangeks in severity from a disadvantage of somewhat

restrain an otherwise called normal life to a overwhelming disability that may need an

institutional care. People with high-functioning Autistic Disorder suffer more from a strong and

frequent loneliness compared to non-autistic person. Despite the belief that a person with autistic

disorder prefer to be alone, making and maintaining friendship often helps improve their

personality. A person with an autistic disorder, Child or adult performs worse at a emotional

recognition. People with Autistic Disorder ranges in severity from a disadvantage of somewhat

DISCUSSION:

This chapter will elaborate the Autistic Disorder, the researchers gathered information

about Autistic Disorder, which is a type of Autism Spectrum Disorder. The information that the

researchers used was from books and internet.

We found out that Autistic Disorder is a severe type of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
more recently described as “mindblindness” a complex developmental disorder usually

accompanied permanent intellectual and behavioral failure however, autistic child or infant loss

the ability to develop normal human relationships with anybody within the first 30 months.

Parents may not notice anything unusual at first. But autistic disorder identified usually by 18

months and no later than 3 years of age,the parent will notice something different, the baby will

have difficulty with feeding and the child will not give a smiling recognition to the parents or

other relatives face.The parents may notice the child’s delays in language, play and social skills.

Like if the child doesn’t talk or has no speech and just making sounds that you can’t understand.

The child has absence of imaginative activity such as playacting of any characters like adult

roles, animals, movie or fantasy characters. There’s also a features that helps to distinguish a

child that has autistic disorder, he or she may show stereotyped motor movements or behaviors

as hand-flicking or hand twisting, spinning and head banging, autistic children has abnormal

hobbies or interest like smelling objects, insists on carrying around a piece of string, repetitive

feeling of texture materials, spinning wheels of toy cars and attachment to unusual objects. More

than that, autistic child has unreasonable urge on following the exact details or routines(e.g.,

insisting to follow the same route when shopping) and they have a discomfort over changes in

their environment like when a a painting was moved from its usual position.
Treatment

As for the Autism Disorder the advances for its treatment has been made especially in the

educational, psychosocial, and biological. However, due to an extreme condition of the

behaviour of those young age that has an autism disorder the parents, physician and any

specialist involved will discuss what’s the best for the child. Unless, the child with the autism

suffers from a unbearable stress and family tension it is the best that the child should look after at
home. Those person with an autism disorder needs a lot of attention, care and love you could

give to them the higher the chance that their situation can improve for the better.

Later on, a person with the said disorder could get a long with education. An educational cases

for those children with the AD.

The most succesful educational model at present is the program for the Treatment and

Education of Autistic and Related Communication Handicapped Children (TEACCH).
