Materi : Narrative text

Penjelasan Materi :

The NARRATIVE TEXT is : The text of which the purpose is to make the
reader can feel as if he/she sees. What happen in the text by himself/
herself.
Narrative has social functions; they are to amuse, to entertain, and to show
moral values indirectly.

Text Organization / The Generic Structure of Narrative Text :

 ORIENTATION
It introduce the main characters of the story, place, and time where
the story happened.
 COMPLICATION
Part which explores the conflict among the characters. This part
contains the essential content of a narrative text.
 RESOLUTION
Part when the conflict tends to be decreased and ended.
This is the part when the characters get the solution of their conflicts. Then
finally the conflict ended as the story ends.

LANGUAGE FEATURE OF NARRATIVE TEXT

a. The use of specific nouns
b. The use of adjectives
c. The of time connectives
d. The use of adverbs and adverbial
e. The use of Past Tense
SEVERAL KINDS OF NARRATIVE TEXT :
 FABLE
Story about animal, which is made like human beings, and usually has
moral value
 LEGEND
Story usually contains the origin of some places, but sometimes is not
based on fact.
 FOLK TALE
Traditional story passed down from generation to generation
 FAIRY TALE
Children’s story about fairies, princess, etc.

kelas X Kemendikbud. Atau buku lainnya yang berhubungan dengan materi.

ibuk atau diletakan di meja ibuk di majlis guru. Kumpulkan sesuai jadwal yang di
tentukan. Waktunya satu Minggu
