EASTER BUNNY FINISHED SIZE 20cm/ 8in long - from tail to nose

YARN Unless otherwise stated, double strands of yarn are used together throughout this
pattern. The exact combinations of yarn to be used are indicated by multiple letters so if the
pattern states yarn AB use both A & B yarn held together as one:

Yarn A - half a 50g ball 4-ply/ fingering weight in light beige


I used - Drops Alpaca shade 302 Camel

Yarn B - quarter of a 25g ball fingering/ lace weight in light pinkish-beige I

I used - Drops Kid-silk shade 40 Pink-Pearl Yarn


Yarn C - half a 50g ball 4-ply/ fingering weight in off-white I

I used - Drops Alpaca shade 0100 Off-White

Yarn D - quarter of a 25g ball fingering/ lace weight in off-white

I used - Drops Kid-Silk shade 01 Off-White

NEEDLES Pair 3.50mm/ US 4 knitting needles

Short row 1 K7, W+Tk Marker to the Ear Back Marker and the join the base of the ear with a stitch or two to

Join Side Seam - Mattress stitch the seam from the Neck to the Top of the Hind Legs
Row 18 Skpo, k2, K2tog - 4sts
at the Outer Thigh Markers, stuffing the bunny as follows before completing the seam:
Cut yarn, thread end through all 4 sts. Pull up and secure the end.
Stuff the rabbit making sure you ease stuffing into the shaping created at the cheeks,
Weave the tail end in and out neatly along the side of the ear**
thighs and back - though don’t over stuff - you still want an element of floppiness

especially around the ears and the neck.


Right Ear

RS and bunny’s Right-Side Body towards you, with yarn BC, beginning at the Right

Ear Back Marker, pick up and knit 12 sts across rows ends to the Right Ear Front NOSE

Join Nose Seam - RS together, fold the Nose Cast-On Edge in half across the edge

and work back-stitch to join the Nose Seam.

NOTE: Leave about 5mm (about 2 rows) un-sewn at the top of the nose seam so that

Complete the Nose - With yarn C or D embroider three straight stitches to create a
