have a voice because they know better than anyone what areas they need to grow in.
This plan is put together to focus on the individual teacher and growing each individual
teacher within the district. This is designed to meet the needs of the teachers while also
holding strong to district’s mission, vision, and instructional model. The day is broken

development. Just as student voice is important, so is the voice and choice of teachers.
The breakout sessions are designed to promote discourse, conversation, and sharing of
experiences by all participants not just the speakers. We have worked hard to plan for
and gather the best that we could find to present information to our teachers. The goal
is that if each individual teacher grows or learns something new today, our district took

a major step forward in providing authentic, engaging learning opportunities for the
PLC Small Group Discussion: Small group and grade level PLCs will meet for forty-five minutes
in the afternoon to discuss learning that took place throughout the morning. Small
groups will be tasked with discussing any new technology resources, tips, and tricks that
they learned throughout the day. The focus should be on what technology tools would
be most beneficial to use for that PLC small group. Specifically, members should
consider and discuss those technology resources that will promote beneficial,
environments.
Planning, Integration Time: Time to close the day will be provided to enable educators the
opportunity to experiment with and plan for new technology integration in their
intentional and specific planning, technology integration and instructional practices will
rarely evolve.
