 Tips on Shooting Dramatic Lighting

- More Hard Light, not soft light; try to create Contrast;

don’t use fill light (like flash); limit other light sources
- Look for interesting shadows, how can you place you
subject so they cast onto them?
- Think about the direction of the light source
- Consider post-editing a few to be black & white

- These are just tips/suggestions,

you don’t have to do all of these
*If you’re not using color, I suggest editing a few in black&white to see how it looks
