A. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position in zone 230.
(2) Remove the sidewall panel in the forward passenger compartment:
(a) FOR 3LX (LT-WING & ENG SCAN, L)

(b) FOR 4LX (LT-WING & ENG SCAN, R)
232KW
(3) Remove the thermal and acoustic insulation in zones 231 and 232.
4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Wing and Engine Scan Light
(1) Outside the aircraft:
(a) Loosen the 16 screws (2) which attach the wing and engine scan light (1) to the structure
(3) of the aircraft.
(2) Inside the forward passenger compartment:
(a) Disconnect the movable connector (4) from the light (1) and put a CAP - BLANKING on
the disconnected connector.
(3) Remove the wing and engine scan light (1).
NOTE: It could be possible that the wing and engine scan lights are not easy to remove. Do
not use tools which could damage the aircraft structure.
