Unit II: PHILIPPINE INDIGE


Activity/Topic: Patintero
Competency: Discuss about the Basic steps of Patintero
Objectives: At the end of the lesson, 90 % of the students are expected to:

a. discuss the different method and its origin. (Patintero)


b. perform the different strategies of Patintero
c. realize to appreciate the traditional game and develop sportsmanship

Materials: Laptop ( For PPT and MSWord)

Concept Statement:

Indigenous games (Tagalog: Patintero) are games that have been played in the Philippines
for generations and generations. The traditional games played with the native and indigenous
materials like Slippers and Can. Due of a lack of toys in the Philippines, children frequently
design games without requiring anything other than players.

Value Statement: “Life is a game and friendship’s love is a trophy”

Today our topic is all about the traditional “Students will raise their hands”
games and sports and I want you to perform
or play the game called Patintero after the
discussion.

Ang harang-taga o mas kilala sa tawag na


patintero ay maaring laruin ng tatlo hanggang
limang manlalaro sa bawat koponan. “ Brief definition about topic”
Kailangan munang gumuhit ng dalawa o apat
na parisukat dipende sa dami ng manlalaro sa
bawat koponan bago mag-umpisa ang laro.
Dapat ay pantay ang bilang ng miyembro ng
bawat kuponan. Listening

Ang bawat kalahok ng isang kupunan ay


tatayo sa likod ng mga linyang ginuhit. Ang
taya na nakatayo sa linya sa gitna ay maaring
tumawid sa mga iba pang linyang ginuhit
kaya't napapadali ang pagkakataon na
mahuhuli ang kalahok ng kabilang grupo.
Listening
Dapat makatawid at makabalik ang mga
kalahok ng kabilang grupo na hindi nahuhuli
ng tayang grupo. Kapag mayroong nakatawid
at nakabalik sa kupunan na hindi nahuhuli ng
mga taya ay madaragdagan ng puntos ang
kanyang kupunan. Ang mga tumatakbo
naman ang magiging taya kung sakaling
mayroon isa sa kanila ang mahuli ng kabilang
kupunan.

Ang unang kupunan na makakuha sa


pinagusapang dami ng puntos ay siyang
magwawagi

group will serve as antagonist and the second
group will serve as protagonist.

Synthesis: Traditional and indigenous games has the best role in our generations, it serves us
sportsmanship and humanity. It develop harmony and peace to each Youngers. The game
Patindero has its way of developing the skills of ones person.
Valuing: The game patintero prompt the youth to be responsible to their selves, and to be
creative and strategic person.
Evaluation: What skills or strategies you learn in playing Patintero, make a short reflection or
essay.
