NAVI MUMBAI

Navi Mumbai is a planed city situated on the west coast of the Indian Subcontinet lies in Konkan Division of
Maharashtra Stat , on the mainland of Indian.
Navi Mumbai is part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
The City is divided into two NORTH NAVI MUMBAI & SOUTH NAVI MUMBAI.
The jurisdiction of NMMC starts at DIGHA in north & ends at BELAPUR in south.
NMMC area has been divided in Nine Zone.
Sprawling in 162.5 sq.km.
These are : BELAPUR / NERUL / TURBHE / VASHI / KOPAR KHAIRANE / GANSOLI / AIROLI / DIGA / DAHISAR.

NAVI MUMBAI MUNICIPAL CORPORATION (NMMC) is the Municipal organisation of Navi Mumbai,
Maharashtra.
On 17 December 1991 NMMC was contitued.
NMMC came in to existence on 1 January 1992.
