“I grew up as a daisy and graduated into a

cadet. I’ve achieved multiple accomplishments

[GIRL
through girl scouts but I'm most proud of
earning my gold award. The gold award is the

SCOUT
highest tier of honour a scout can earn and
requires an individual scout to activate the
community and leave a long-lasting impact.

S] For my gold award, I partnered with Detroit

Rescue Mission Ministries and adopted an
abandoned doctor's office in downtown Detroit
[ GOLD AWARD] and rebuilt it to create a homeless shelter for
homeless fathers with children. In order to fund
a project of such magnitude, I had to create and
run my own fundraiser. I partnered with
Northville’s CycleBar and ran a charity
fundraiser and was able to raise over $500 for
the project. In the end I was able to personally
learn and grow while giving back to my
community.
