Term and Conditions


1. Irrigation & WR Department invite expression of interest from reputed
consultancy firms with experience in preparation of feasibility reports and
detailed project report of such similar nature of work, for being short listed
on the basis of their experience and other eligibility criteria.
2. The objective of this consultancy work is to prepare feasibility report and
detailed project report for construction of bridge on Narnaul Branch.
3. Interested consultancy firms must provide following information:-
(i) Detail of similar nature of work.
(ii) Particulars of the organization/ consultancy firm.
(iii) Detail of ownership of the organization/ consultancy firm.
(iv) Detail of computer facilities available.
(v) Any other relevant information.
(vi) The Irrigation & Water Resource Department reserve the right to
consider or reject all or any of the proposals without any reasons
whatsoever.
Scope of Work

The Scope described here under is only indicative in nature and shall not
be limited to the same:-
(i) Review all the available information/ data, drawing, site detail etc. and
consider the same while planning of the work.
(ii) Carry out an engineering survey of the area so that a working scheme can
be designed.
(iii) Carry out an instrumental survey which covers such areas as would be
essential to establish a proper functional system. All survey work shall be
done by Total station. All survey data shall be documented properly with
reference to permanent bench mark. The survey would also include
locating the permanent bench mark, transfer the same to the locations
near the site for further reference, making of temporary bench mark,
taking the levels in an appropriate grid covering the full area within
appropriate land width. The survey data should be such that, it relate to
the work.
(iv) The entire survey covering all the relevant details and drawings shall be
made on CAD and shall be supplied in original in 12 set hard copies and
soft copies in pen drive/ CD hard drive also.
(v) All survey instruments, Engineers, labors, temporary works, tool & plants
and any other items required for survey work complete in all respect shall
be arranged by the consultant/ agency at his own cost.
(vi) On the basis of detailed survey, the consultant shall submit preliminary
engineering design and drawing of the work i.e. L- section, cross- section,
earth work, soil bearing capacity and all other structures along with Bill of
work with calculation for all quantities, cost estimate, analysis of rates,
comparison of non schedule items and detailed specifications for all the
items of the work for invitation of tenders for fixing executing agencies.
(vii) Based on the detailed survey, preliminary design, surveys and technical
investigation, the design consultant shall prepare detailed layout plans
showing L- section and any other structure etc., prepare detailed
engineering design, design calculations and drawings including detailed
construction working drawings for all items of works. The drawings shall
be prepared on computer in Standard CAD formats. The entire final
approved designs and estimates shall be submitted duly signed in original
in 12 copies along with pen drive/ hard drives.
(viii) The consultant shall get the design and working/ detailed drawings proof
checked from any of the following institution/ undertakings:
(a) The Indian Institute of technology (IITs) Delhi, Roorkee, or Punjab
Engineering College, Chandigarh or NIT.
(b) The consultant shall also modify/ revise the designs and drawings on
the basis of changes/ modifications suggested by the Irrigation &
Water Resource Department without any additional payment.
(ix) The consultant shall supply drawings (12 sets) with pen drive of
appropriate size in sufficient copies as directed by the Engineer.
(x) The consultant shall be responsible for accuracy of the designs, drawings
and construction drawings prepared by him as part of the project.
