tied solely to their humanity. It has nothing to do
with their class, race, gender, religion, abilities, or
any other factor other than them being human.

Revised Penal Code Art. 333. Who are guilty of adultery.

Adultery is committed by any married woman who shall

have sexual intercourse with a man not her husband and
by the man who has carnal knowledge of her knowing her
to be married, even if the marriage be subsequently
declared void.
 PRE-MARITAL SEX

It is the sexual activity of a woman and man who are

not of the legal age or are of the legal age but are
not yet married.

Catholicism equates pre-marital sex with fornication.

 FORNICATION

Fornication is carnal union between an unmarried man

and an unmarried woman.

WE NEED TO PRACTICE

THE VIRTUE OF

CHASTITY.
 WHAT IS CHASTITY?
Chastity means the successful integration of sexuality
within the person and thus the inner unity of man in
his bodily and spiritual being.
The virtue of chastity
therefore involves
the integrity of the
person and the
integrality of the gift.
(CCC, 2337)
The virtue of chastity comes under the

cardinal virtue of temperance, which

seeks to permeate the passions and

appetites of the senses with reason.

(CCC, 2341)
Chastity is a difficult, long

term matter; one must wait

patiently for it to bear fruit,

for the happiness of loving

kindness which it must

bring. But at the same time,

chastity is the sure way to

happiness.
