Introduction To Mates
Mating your opponent king requires patter recognition and skills. We learn mates when we are at basic
So why to make it again? Because these are not simple these are tricky mates not normal mates!
The point of this course for beginners is to learn mates and checkmate your opponent and for advanced
players is to get 100% accuracy! I do believe it will be a difficult challenge because I have many
limitations for advanced players
1) Make your time limit 10 seconds
2) Do 100 positions in a go!
You will find more in the next section
***How to study this course as an advanced player***
1) Make your times 10 seconds: Make sure to go through the positions while keeping your timer 10
seconds. Note – If you are unable to do this then increase your time.
Note – 2 These positions are really very trick you might need to follow the Note 1
2) Do 100 positions in a go: If you keep your times 10 seconds the this looks quite easy!
10 seconds/position = 15 minutes/100 positions = So not a big challenge!
1) Checks – Just focus where are the best checks/checkmates in most cases and you will spot the right
move.
***Recommend time***
Not more than 60 seconds
***Recommended cycle***
1 week for everyone
