Prospective pilots with little or no flight experience can now
begin their career track without the complexity and uncertainty
traditionally associated with flight training. The Cadet Academy
has been designed to address all of the obstacles associated
with a traditional flight training route. We have developed a
turn-key approach which is similar to many colleges. You are
responsible for one price. All costs associated with becoming a
professional pilot are covered in that one price.

Eligibility requirements

You Must-
1. Be 21 years old by the
completion of the
approximately three year
program.
2. Be able to obtain a valid
passport with the ability to
travel in and out of NSW.
3. Demonstrate proficiency
in reading, writing, and
speaking English.
4. Pass a background
check.

Career Progression

Cadet Academy makes it easy to navigate your professional
pilot career from the first flight as a student pilot to being hired
at Pan Am Airways. The Pan Am Airways Cadet Academy is
broken into two phases: Instruction and Experience.

Instruction Phase:
● Private Pilot Certificate
● Instrument Rating
● Commercial Pilot Certificate
● Multi-Engine Rating
● Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI, CFII)

Experience Phase:
● Work as a paid flight instructor
● Build hours to fly our international flights
● Fly smaller domestic routes

Costs of training

The majority of flight schools charge students by the flight hour,
meaning students all pay different amounts, based on their
learning speed. The Cadet Academy is different in that it offers
a set course cost for the completion of each step, allowing you
to work at your own pace.

The costs for our training program usually runs about $150,000
to get cadets from their Private Pilot Certificate all the way
through their Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
