4.6.2 Operational Verification
Verify that it can be connected to RIS from each NIC.
In case of both wired and wireless connection to the in-hospital network,
that which one is used for communication depends on the network
settings. Therefore, the operational verification will be performed in the
situation that the NIC except the target NIC from the network have been
cut off.

$ For details of network setting, see “4.5 Setting the Priority Order
of the Network Binding”.

1. Cut off the NIC except the target NIC from the network.

 NOTE 
Cut off the NIC from the network using the following method. It is
not required to cut off the NIC for image local network.
NIC for wired connection: Remove the LAN cable.
NIC for wireless connection: Move the DR-ID 800CL if there is no
communication with the AP.

2. Wait for about 1 minute after the target NIC is able to be

connected with RIS and inquire at the RIS.

3. Make sure that the order information and patient information can
be received.

4. Perform identically to steps 1 through 3, even if NIC is not being

operational verified.
