Model “D” Running Tool
Product No. 811-07

Description
The Model “D” Running Tool is essentially a
small solid mandrel with a shear pin release fea-
ture. The purpose of the tool is to run and set, on
wireline, Tubing I.D. Pack-Off Equipment such as
the Model “K-2” Removable Seating Nipple, Prod-
uct No. 819-21, the Model “K-2” Straddle Pack-Off,
Product No. 819-52, and Model “K-3” Straddle
Pack-Off Product No. 819-55. It is compatible with
normal wireline procedures and equipment.

• One piece design with jar-down shoulder.
• Jar-down shear pin release for Running Tool.

Application
To run and set Model “K-2” Removable Seating
Nipples and Models “K-2” and “K-3” Straddle Pack-
Off Equipment on conventional wireline.

Operating Instructions
The Model “D” Running Tool, Product 811-07,
is brass shear pinned to the seal bore of a Model
“K-2” Removable Seating Nipple or a Model “K-2”
and “K-3” Straddle Pack-Off. Jar down repeatedly
to release the Running Tool and pack off the Pack-
Off Equipment.
