Colleagues (Summarize how two colleagues have addressed similar leadership roles OR the status of the issue at department/school/district level.)
Ryan is a fellow social studies teacher. He has conducted a mini-training this year at the
high school level focused on strategies for supporting struggling students. My
presentation ties closely into this, as enhancing LiveLesson engagement would also likely
benefit struggling students.

Overall, my colleagues reported high satisfaction with my presentation. A majority of colleagues had little to no experience using Nearpod in
the classroom before my presentation. Because of time constraints, I did have to send out my survey after the presentation, so I likely had
less respondents than I would have if I had been able to have all meeting participants take it immediately following my training. The majority
of those who responded stated that they would feel confident or very confident in their ability to implement Nearpod into their LiveLessons.
This lends to the effectiveness of my presentation and demonstration. Additionally, over 90% of participants reported believing that
Nearpod would help increase student engagement during LiveLessons. Increasing engagement will lead to improved learning outcomes and
student satisfaction, which I believe is crucial at an independent-study, online school.
