3. CAREER AND PROFESSION

Specific roles and key achievements:

 I have been proactive in running, implementing and make sure that safeguarding policies are abided
in children protection and caring of patients in different health facilities in Tanzania
 I have been helping the premature babies in nutrition,
and in helping the newborn babies how to breathe.
 Enhanced training to incentive workers especially on Safeguarding, Child Protection and CFS
management hand in hand with PSS social workers and Service Centre Coordinators.
 Executing CFS activities including manipulative, cognitive, recreational, traditional and other
related activities like parenting education, practical skills and life skills sessions.
 Coordinated FGD, meetings, daily attendance, capacity building and compliance of code of
conduct, child protection and safeguarding policies to CFS/centre Incentive workers for reaching
volume organizational goals.
 Supported children and families with distress through guidance and counselling, home vist/follow-
ups and referral pathways for children adolescents, parents and caring.
