Testimonials
“I have been exposed to good quality coaching services for several years, and I found
my interaction with Adriana quite different. What Adriana brings to the table is this
sense of absolute calmness and the absence of rush and anxiety. She is very
organized in her approach, and she uses powerful questions in a manner that allowed
me to discover creative solutions to my problems. Adriana is a very effective guide, a
coach I would always talk to when in doubt with my choices and decisions.”

“Adriana is a passionate coach with a lot of positive energy and an endless

inspiration for me. With her support I saw fast and continuous progress in my
professional and personal life and I’m feeling energized and inspired after each
session. Her methods helped me to change my perspective, to improve my self-
confidence, my work-life balance and, the most important, to re-build healthier
relationships with my family. Adriana is the person to go if you need to find
inspiration and wise guidance in discovering your inner resources. “

Therapy and coaching do overlap in many ways. However, therapy tends to focus on
healing, while coaching seeks to help people achieve their goals through optimal
functioning and performance.

I base my coaching on an Evidence-Based Approach: I use empirical research based

on my observations and experiences, drawing upon my knowledge of the behavioral
sciences, psychology, and coaching best practices.

I also practice Solution-Focused Coaching: an outcome orientated, competence-

based approach which encourages clients to take personal responsibility and focus on
future actions, using their personal strengths to best effect.

DIVERSITY
A client must feel comfortable and understood by their mental health professional for
a therapeutic relationship to be effective. I identify first and foremost as a human
being, and I trust that our common humanity will help us build a relationship
tailored to your needs – to your identity, culture and experience.

CASE STUDY
A client once came to session with lower energy than normal and shared that she felt
depressed.

I recognized that many people use the language of depression lightly and sought to
explore the client’s definition of the word. This would allow me to better recognize if
mental illness might be present and require a referral.

The client shared that she is already working with a therapist. I invited her to say
what she is hoping for from coaching today and what she is already learning about
herself in the therapy that she would like me to be aware of as her coach.

The client shared that her therapist is persuading her that in terms of wellbeing, 5
out of 10 is normal and that she should accept that, instead of striving for more. Then
she sadly shared that she feels it is her karma to start over repeatedly, in terms of
reaching well-being.

I replied that for me, it seems that she is on a life journey and wondered if she agreed
with this image. She said yes and then I asked her what kind of a journey she is on.
She said she never thought about it, and then, after a 4-5 second moment of silence,
she launched into a very long story of her career and work struggles which ended
with „I thought my journey is exhausting and that I am very tired, but, interestingly
enough, I cannot say that now. So I think… I'm actually surprised to I say that I feel
pretty hopeful.”

I answered, „So you ARE hopeful”. The client started crying and replied „ Yeah, but I
was not aware until you asked me.” I said „I see tears running down your face. What
is happening?” The client said „if I look deep, somehow, I feel I do have the resources
and I can handle things.” I said „You have a past. Which you no longer want to allow
to interfere with your future. What is the future that you would like to see for
yourself?”

The client started talking about her career being fractured. I asked „ This career that
you say is fractured. What would you like to be able to say? A year or so from now?”
Then we contracted the specific outcome of her leaving the session with a clear first
step to be undertaken the next week, towards her preferred future.

The client left the session hopeful and energized, ready to start her new plan. I am
very proud of this session in which I supported my client to activate her inner
resources.
COVER LETTER
Dear Sir/Madam,

I am an ICC PCC certified coach, with more than 10 years of coaching practice and
more than 750 paid coaching hours.

I am interested in applying to Torch not only because I specialize in leadership

coaching, but also because ethical businesses are essential to me: mutual respect and
understanding are values I am deeply committed to.

My clients are usually middle managers or first-time managers, but also high
potential employees, entrepreneurs and consultants. They are based in countries
such as Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Germany and the UK.

I base my coaching on an Evidence-Based Approach: I use empirical research based

on my observations and experiences, drawing upon my knowledge of the behavioral
sciences, psychology, and coaching best practices. I also practice Solution-Focused
Coaching: an outcome orientated, competence-based approach which encourages
clients to take personal responsibility and focus on future actions, using their
personal strengths to best effect.

I believe that coaching exists to support individuals in determining for themselves

the most significant areas of personal and professional development and how to
achieve goals in those areas. Therapy and coaching do overlap in many ways.
However, therapy tends to focus on healing, while coaching seeks to help people
achieve their goals through optimal functioning and performance.

You can find here the link to my LinkedIn profile:

I am also attaching a copy of my resume.

I would be very interested in a preliminary talk regarding my possible candidature as

a Torch coach. I can provide testimonials, case studies, recorded sessions or do
mock-up sessions.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Best regards,
Adriana

Components: Intimacy, Passion, and Commitment

Consummate love is made up of all three components and is the total form of love. It
represents an ideal relationship. Couples who experience this kind of love have great
sex several years into their relationship. They cannot imagine themselves with
anyone else. They also cannot see themselves truly happy without their partners.
They manage to overcome differences and face stressors together.
