I. OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this lesson, Students should be able to:

 Define pictograph and its parts.


 Read and interpret a pictograph.
 Create a pictograph.

1. Review
Class, what is bar graph?
A bar graph can be defined as a chart or a graphical
representation of data, quantities or numbers using
bars or strips.

Bar graph are used to compare and contrast numbers,
frequencies, or other measures of distinct categories of

2. Motivation
And now, we are going to have a play entitled
“Jigsaw Puzzle Game”. I have here a piece of
jigsaw puzzle each will get a piece of jigsaw
puzzle. You are going to paste a piece of jigsaw
puzzle in front of class in order to arrange the
puzzle to recognize the picture. Did you get it
class? Yes, teacher!

I will group you into 3, each group must choose
a leader and a reporter for the presentation of
your work later. You will be given 5 minutes to
do your activities. Is it clear class? Yes, teacher!

But before that, let me ask you first. What do you


think a group must do for you to be able to finish
your work on time? The group must build cooperation or team work to
successfully finish the activity on time.
