CCM Certification Site Walkthrough 081621
Access the CCM Certification site via the CCM dealer.cat.com page
Enter machine Serial Number (SN) or Product Identification Number (PIN) and hit enter (or click the
magnifying glass) to search.
On the landing screen, you will see the expected PM intervals required for certification (the PM Schema
from SOC), and any work orders Cat was able to automatically find within the system and align to those
completed services. A dealer can add notes on this page that will show on a PM History Report.
To Certify a machine, type in the requested hours at the top right hand of the screen, and click the
“certify” button. Machines can only be certified to an SMU that corresponds to a required service
interval. Any hour level requested that does not correspond to a required service interval will be
rounded down to the prior service interval. Example: if 3272 is submitted, the system will change this to
3000.
Note: if machine achieves certification at the requested hour level, a PM History Report will
automatically be generated, and a plate order placed. The PM History report will be available for
immediate download.
DATA EXCEPTIONS
If the system is unable to locate a work order for a required service interval, this interval will return on
the landing screen highlighted in red and identified as “Missing Work order data.”
The dealer can provide the work order detail for these intervals by clicking the “add data” link and
entering the work order number, date performed, and machine hours in the pop-up window.
A red “Missing CVA” flag means that the system was unable to align this PM service to a corresponding
CVA registered in Cat Foresight. Services completed outside of a qualifying CVA agreement will not be
considered for CCM certification. If you believe this service was completed within a dealer performed
PM CVA, please check or update the data in Foresight, and if applicable, attempt to re-certify if CVA
registrations were updated or corrected.
*For current accuracy requirements and qualifying CVA criteria, please refer to the Rules Logic
documentation on https://dealer.cat.com/certifiedmaintained
If you wish to print out a record of expected service intervals, or what data is currently available for a
machine, click the “Download” button next to the Maintenance History header to download a machine
record without requesting an official PM History report.
This downloaded PDF can be used for proof of dealer performed maintenance, renewal documentation
for customer conversations to show CCM compliance for machines that do not yet meet minimum
hours, or can be provided to other dealer personnel to locate missing work order data.
