For the final exam, you may use a single computer or tablet. You will login to the Canvas quiz via a

The final exam comprises two sections as described below. Each section will draw from the principles
learned and reinforced throughout the semester. When applicable, refer to course concepts (including
any specific articles, cases, and guest lectures you recall) to gain full credit for each question.
Section 1: Short Answer (80 points)

Each question will require a brief response (i.e., 2-4 sentences, calculation, and/or list of items).
Where applicable (which is most of the time!), cite examples from EAS545 case studies, articles,
class discussions, and/or guest speakers in your answers. If you answer more than 20 questions,
only the first 20 responses count toward your exam score.
Section 2: Short Answer – Venture Finance (20 points)
Provide calculations and concise answers to any five (5) of the eight (8) questions in this section.
Show all your calculations & work and answer all parts of the question. If you answer more than
5 questions, only the first 5 responses count toward your exam score.
