• BCCP is a program provided by the
Department of Public Health.
• This program provides breast and cervical

• Women that fall below 200% of the federal

women aged 21-64
(BCCP)
• Breast cancer screening is available to
women aged 40-64
• Introduced by the Breast and Cervical Cancer

• Introduced because BCCP wants employees

• Funding Expiration: June 30, 2022
• Purpose: to develop or enhance policies that increase access to cancer screening at
worksites in Georgia
• Mandatory deliverables:
• 1- establish and maintain point of contact at each participating worksite
• 2- administer employer- level and employee- level worksite assessments provided by
DPH
• 3- collaborate with worksite staff to develop or enhance wellness policy at worksite
• 4- communicate with DPH and participate in conference calls, meetings, training and
technical support provided by DPH

Healthier You Series
