Obituary
Mary Haskins Malone peacefully
departed this life on January 12, 2022
at her home in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
She was born on January 29, 1924 in
Charlotte Court House, VA to the late
Otis Haskins and Judy Davis Haskins.
She married Walter Malone in 1942
and from that union was blessed with
two children William (Bill) Malone and
Mary Helen Malone (Alston).
Throughout her life, Mary was an in-
spirational, hard working, devoted wife
and mother. She was always willing to
aid or lend a helping hand to anyone
in need.
Ms. Malone joined the Mt Zion Bap-
tist Church in Red House, VA at an
early age and later attended Mt Horeb
Baptist Church of Washington, DC.
She moved to Washington, DC in
1959. She retired from GSA, Food
Services when she was 62 years old.

of righteousness for his name’s sake.
