Douglas adams, author of the hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy, once came up with a set of rules that

describe our reactions to technology:

Anything that’s in the world when you’re born is normal and ordinary and is just a natural part of the
way te world works.

Anthing that’s invented between when you’re fifteen and thirty five is new and exciting and
revolutionary and you can probably get a career in it.

Anything invented after you are thirty five is against the natural order of things.

Today ,

Adults in the world doing various works have spent their days without google, those in the universities
with little internet, those in high school without high end devices and primary school students without
an idevice.

Media headlines often target all those malicious attack, scams and pranks done in the cyber world. The
reaction of becoming obese and lazy due to internet and the google world.

The point we all miss is that technology and google isn’t to blame. To blame is the place of inactivity of
adolescents at their growing age. Studies state that already inactive teens, without proper outdoor
sports facilities feel more inclined towards internet, determined to learn something new.

This is why experts do not blame the internet for any health related isuues to the internet, instead, many
internet sensations have successfully build their career in various platforms. Their talent would have
gone unnoticed had there been no big platform like google.

Speaking of cyber bullying and spamming, these activities are completely based on people’s wants.
Human beings try to gather information of the host to occupy the assets of the victim. True the internet
provides them the platform needed to gain access, but again its people who do the crimes and the
internet can’t be blamed for these attacks. For example, if you are robbed inside a shopping mall, you
will accuse the robberer and not the shopping mall owner for the incident.

Research shows that almost 90 percent of the fifteen year old boys of uk and approximately 92 percent
of the fifteen year old girls state that having social media handles is very usefull in this world, referring to
have proper contacts with family and friend in the same platform.

Technology can be both a friend or a foe, its how children use it and how parents help them understand
it, eventually defining the next generation.
