BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROCESS TECHNOLOGY

Scrap and returns are melted in Induction Furnaces.

Molten Metal is then treated with Ferro Silicon Magnesium and treated
metal is poured into the Green Sand Moulds produced by Impulse Squeeze
Molding Machine.

In case of cast iron, the molten metal is not treated and directly poured into
the moulds.

Some moulds are made by hand molding process also.

Cores are made in Shell, Co2 and Cold box process.

After castings are poured, they are separated from sand on vibratory shake
out. The separed sand is then reprocessed in the sand plant, which consists of
intensive Sand Mixer, Sand Cooler and various storage hoppers. The conveying of
sand from station to station with the help of belt conveyors.

Runners and risers are broken off and castings are send for shot blasting,
fettling, heat treatment and machining as per the requirement of various types of
castings.

The castings are then finally inspected and after suitable primary coat, are
dispatched to customers.

The runners, risers, and rejected castings are send for re-melting

Companion Flange-
A companion flange, sometimes referred to as a hub, allows connection of a flange
yoke to another type of connection, for proper torque transfer. The flange yoke is
bolted with either through holes or threaded holes to the appropriate companion
flange, which has some other form of connection, primarily bore and key or
splinted input shaft..

Case differential
In automobiles and other wheeled vehicles, the differential allows the outer drive
wheel to rotate faster than the inner drive wheel during a turn. This is necessary
when the vehicle turns, making the wheel that is travelling around the outside of
the turning curve roll farther and faster than the other. The average of the rotational
speed of the two driving wheels equals the input rotational speed of the drive shaft.
An increase in the speed of one wheel is balanced by a decrease in the speed of the
other.

Banjo Beam
A beam axle, rigid axle or solid axle is a dependent suspension design, in which a
set of wheels is connected laterally by a single beam or shaft. Beam axles were
once commonly used at the rear wheels of a vehicle, but historically they have also
been used as front axles in rear-wheel-drive vehicles.

Drive Shaft Components

A drive shaft, driveshaft, driving shaft, tail shaft, propeller shaft (prop shaft),
or Cardin shaft is a mechanical component for transmitting torque and rotation,
usually used to connect other components of a drive train that cannot be connected
directly because of distance or the need to allow for relative movement between
them.
